Previous work has been done in order to reduce in a scenario of mass production, such as the industrial case, the waste and poor management of raw materials and resources which affect efficiency and ramp-up-time. Such work has developed a solution integrated in a system of monitoring and/or controlling production lines, the SmartComponent.
