Call for Applications: GIST Business Incubation 2019 for Global Startups in Scientific or Technological sector
The overall innovation of the US State Department by science and technology, or GIST, is pleased to announce a new program for entrepreneurs in emerging economies. GIST Business Incubation support international innovators in the fields of science and technology startups looking to expand to the US market. It will also offer the American ecosystem young companies the opportunity to forge new relationships with entrepreneurs abroad .
The incubation program GIST 2019 companies will provide entrepreneurs with exposure to the US market and start-up resources. While in residence with the program, participants will work to refine their ideas, build their business plans and find the right market for their product. Participating entrepreneurs will also have the opportunity to network in the startup ecosystem where they are.
The first incubation program of GIST companies will take place in autumn 2019 and the dates and exact locations will be announced. Participants accepted into the program will be assigned to an incubator located in the US.
To be eligible, you must meet the following conditions:
- One member of your team can participate in this program.
- Only candidates of countries eligible for GIST are allowed to apply.
- All applicants must be aged 18 to 40 years.
- You must be a good English speaker.
- This program does not include the interpretation of the language.
- All startup companies must belong to scientific or technological sector
What to know before you start your application, it should keep in mind certain things about this program. :
Only one person is allowed to participate in each start, and only one application will be accepted for each team.
Your startup should be ready for Series or for scaling - that is to say, say, you must actively work on your startup. We will not accept
