Nigeria is emerging as a dependable origin for Non-GMO soybeans, offering consistent oil and protein levels that meet the requirements of industrial processors. The article presents detailed laboratory specifications for four of Nigeria’s leading soybean varieties — TGX-1448-2E, TGX-1951, TGX-1987-62F and TGX-2024-Badeggi — each of which has been evaluated for moisture, ash, fat and protein. These varieties support a wide range of applications, including edible oil extraction, refining, protein concentrates and isolates, textured vegetable protein and bakery or ingredient formulation. Their behaviour during pressing, milling and extraction is predictable, giving manufacturers stable yields and fewer off-spec batches.
